Vehicle Listing Description

This is a project car. I stopped before completing it because i lost a place and time to work on it. The suspension items, ball joints, tie rod ends, stabilizer links, bushings have all been replaced. upper control arm bushings are provided, had not been installed yet. The drum brakes are all new, including wheel cylinders and brake hardware. The 12 bolt rear housing is original, confirmed by build date codes as this year car does not have a serial number on the rear. it was originally a 3.08 posi, and is presently a 4.10 posi. The transmission originally a 400 turbo had a cracked case and has been replaced by a freshly rebuilt 400 turbo. The transmission has not yet had fluid put in it. The engine is the original, numbers matching engine. Date codes on the block and heads all support the build date on the car. The intake manifold had been replaced with an aftermarket intake. I found the correct intake on e bay except the date code is about 4 months or so too old. the intake has been installed on the engine. I believe the engine to have only the mileage showing on the odometer, 21,000 miles. this engine was removed from the car a long time ago and saved, realizing it's value. The inside of the engine is as clean as the outside. it comes with the original correct distributor, starter, alternator, etc. all the brackets for the a/c, power steering, alternator are original and correct. the car's a/c compressor is original and appears to be in good condition, spins ok, not locked up. original fan shroud, cruise control brackets, etc. are there. I also have the inner fender wells. not installed.
The body damage to this car occured when transporting it from the gargae i lost to the the driveway it is now sitting in. the trailer door guide wire did the damage shown in the pictures. the driver front fender hit the door post of the trailer.
this car needs full dual exhaust past the original exhaust manifolds. both bumpers are painted black, will need replacing probably . you may want to have these rechromed. i have new emblems for the car, all the door rubbers and fuzzys. new trunk mat. most of the trim is included. some dents are there, not show quality. needs tires for sure. windshield is cracked.
this car in a completed state has a high value , even in this economy. search all you want, but you will not find many factory, numbers matching 67 big block impala ss's at any price. this car will bring 30-40,000 restored.
by the way, the car's original exterior color was gold
i have had this car for a while. i have receipts exceeding $7,000 . my loss is your gain. please don't ask me to lower my already fair price. thanks for looking
